The Culturist aims to inspire readers and promote culture. The blog combines my own views and experiences throughout the worlds of film, music and travel – plus everything in between. Here you will find compelling stories, insightful reviews, handy tips and personal tales from over the years.
Over the last two years I decided to throw caution to the wind and do the things that make me happy. Whether that’s discovering new music, travelling the world or chasing my dream of becoming a screenwriter, there’s no shortage of things to talk about!
Regular features on the website include film reviews, travel tales (places I’ve visited and the things I’ve seen), music playlists plus loads more.
Is this your first time on The Culturist? If you’re new to the website you can find your way around by using the handy navigation bar along the top of the page. For now, here’s a few of my favourite (and most popular) posts to help get you started:
- Film reviews: War On Everyone, Jason Bourne, Sicario, and Macbeth.
- Features: World Beard Day: Best Beards in Film, 10 of the Best ‘Back to School’ Films of the 90s and Drive: A Modern Classic.
- Festivals and gigs: TBC
- Travel guides: TBC
- Places I love: TBC
